Well, howdy do? It’s that time of the year again–time to plan some trips! Burning Man is out of the question due to the lottery issues, and I’m not too thrilled about the heat anyway. Instead, two far more comfortable things are in the works:
- Melbourne in the spring for a conference; and
- Hoopy goodness and the West Coast in the fall.
Of course, we can’t take the Van to Australia (wouldn’t that be amazing, though?). But we CAN take the van down the coast to Santa Cruz and enjoy some mild fall sunshine and then visit some friends on the way back. I’m not sure which trip is more exciting? Anyone who wants to suggest interesting places to visit in either location should feel free to chime in!
Maybe we’ll get our shit collected and get a bunch of nice semi-local weekend trips in this summer too. When we’re not building things in the yard, that is.
